2000 Powerstroke does not work.

Does not work on 2000 F250 7.3 Stroke Diesel Engine. Remains on even after the key is turned off, draining the batteries and damaging the relay.

Pros
  • Number of Ports: 4
Cons
  • So-So

Works fine but clock orientation

Works fine but the orientation of the mounting tab connections was 180 degrees from the stock Ford unit on the 2002 F250 Super Duty. Works perfectly. Just pay attention to the alignment.

Pros
  • Voltage: 12V
Cons
  • I will add later

Alert to Owners 7.3 PowerStroke

This solenoid did not work on my 2003 7.3 Powerstroke. This solenoid has a grounded terminal. Maybe I have a bad solenoid. But the fact that this solenoid doesn't have lugs in the base like the OEM version makes me think differently. This version is only supplied with 12 V at the smallest terminal. PCM in 7.3 sends 12V to both small terminals. When the PCM calls the glow plugs, it sends ground to one of the terminals. When I installed this, it turned on the glow plugs as soon as the key was…

Pros
  • See description for vehicle installation information.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
