Disappointed with camera and photo

I chose this product because so many people in the wedding industry recommended it for low light conditions. F/2.8 was good, but this lens wasn't sharp. Each of my shots was the same. Very soft in the middle. Even my mother noticed this, who knows NOTHING about photography and lenses. I sent it back. I've heard a few people say they bought this lens and it was sharp. I guess it's good or bad. Much luck!

Pros
  • Zoom lock for convenience
Cons
  • Good but not great

Pros
  • Filter diameter 67mm
Cons
  • Secret

I have owned and used this lens for 5 days and was unfortunately very disappointed. I'm using a Nikon D7000 and not sure if it was a compatibility issue or what, but the lens just didn't focus sharply and often focused close but not to my chosen focus point. For example: I chose…
