Review on Tamron Autofocus 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF) Lens: Ideal for Nikon DSLR Cameras by Ben Rodriguez

I am very happy with this lens at a reasonable price. For a price that won't break the bank, I'm generously rewarded with sharpness and superb color reproduction. I have three Tamron lenses: this one, a 90mm macro lens and a 70-300mm macro zoom. I would call 90mm the sharpest and put it second. Considering that 90mm is a legend, that's really high praise. If you're concerned about the quality but can't beat the cost of a standard Nikon or Canon zoom lens, give this one a try. I rented one and was so impressed with the performance and balance on my Nikon D50 that I ordered my own after just a few days of use.
