Tandy Leather Craftool® Stitching Groover with Freehand Capability (88074-11) Review

As an Arts and Crafts enthusiast, I've tried multiple stitching tools and this one takes the cake. The Freehand Stitching tool allows complete control over stitching without the hassle of a machine. As a result of using this tool, I found that my stitching looks much neater and easier to manage. The only downside is that it takes longer to complete larger projects compared to using a machine.

Really like this groove. I use it to draw stitch lines and even cut out some designs. It's a good weight and no problem in tight corners.

You need to be of good size and steady hands to use this product. I used this to engrave a lining design for a suit into leather. Wide, sweeping strokes work much better than short bursts - if you want to create very small and complex drawings, this tool probably won't work.
