Targus 6 Inch Aluminum Tripod TG CT7 Review

I wanted this little tripod to work as well as possible, but the legs don't hold up, they fall off and there is no way to stop them from falling. I cannot recommend this product to anyone. Your product may be different, I had to send it back.

I needed a little tripod for my camera. I've tried others that I've found in stores but for one reason or another returned everything. This is exactly what is needed; It can hold the camera at any angle, it's short enough to fit in my camera bag, and it feels secure when I stretch my legs. I am very happy with this purchase.

This holds my webcam very well. Unfortunately I don't think it will stand up to a real camera as shown in the picture. I put my D7000 DSLR on it to check it and it just fell over. I also set up my Canon S100 and it feels like it's about to tip over when someone walks by. But he holds the Logitech C920 quite well.

This is the perfect little tripod. You can use it with or without the legs extended. It seems very well made and strong. I bought it to have my webcam on my desk, but it's also perfect to put in my camera bag and take with me when I travel. You can use this to park your camera on something and take selfies or group shots.

I bought several of these stands to set up my Foscam 8910W cameras around the house. Ideal for placing cameras on countertops, tables or even the floor. This is a true dual purpose stand. Remember that new and old Foscam IP cameras have different threads. I believe the Foscam 8910W and newer cameras have a larger threaded stand.

This tripod does not support 9 oz compact camera in upright position. He will fall over. I have a Sony HX50 (9oz) compact camera and this tripod doesn't support it vertically (horizontally is fine). Unfortunately, I bought this device because the ad said it supported a camcorder, so I assumed it would support my compact camera in a vertical position, but it doesn't. Another thing is that it appears wonderful.

I've always had trouble standing very still and taking pictures. B. when it gets dark or when you use a long telephoto lens. This cool little tripod fits easily in a pocket or jacket pocket without adding bulk. I love them so much and they are so cheap that I buy them for every car and also for my camera. With a wireless camera like the Panasonic ZS40, the camera can be set up for remote photography. but without a tripod it's very difficult at best. So this is exactly the right thing!

I bought a 6 inch Targus to use with an external webcam (Logitech C615). I knew that for my intended use I needed to be able to position/orient the webcam in multiple directions quickly and easily and this tripod makes that possible. Its legs are stable and adjustable and stay where I want them. The head rotates in all directions without losing overall balance. Very bright room lighting. The lenses for this camera are not very fast. Even at maximum aperture, the shutter speed is too slow to capture sharp images when you're holding the camera, even at telephoto with image stabilization. With the camera on a tripod and a hand on the tripod or on the camera, it's solid, the hand no longer shakes for about 1/15 of a second.
