A must for a sanitary kitchen.

I use a probe thermometer to check that food has reached the desired (safe) temperature for almost every type of meat, poultry and fish I cook. After a quick rinse of the probe, I use it to sanitize the thermometer before putting it away. If my first temperature check shows the food is undercooked, I will sanitize it before checking again.

Non-Medical Consumables - Commercial Kitchen Use, Expired, Dried, Opened

For Hospitality Use Only. These are not medical supplies and should not be used for any purpose other than what is stated on the packaging which is specifically designed to clean a catering thermometer between one food item and another. The supply for the canteen kitchen that was sent to us has not only expired. seven months ago, but the box had apparently been opened with many previously processed packages. In fact, they were mostly dry.
