Works in my smoker

I like this thermometer for its large count and ease of use. I bought 2 of these to use in my grills and smokers. I would buy this again.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Nothing here

Seems accurate and relatively easy to read

Seems accurate and relatively easy to read. The hanging tray is too small for our ovens, so it's quite difficult to keep it upright. This confirms my suspicion that our 'new' Frigidaire oven, with all its digital displays, is not holding or reaching the set temperature. Better at higher temperatures, worse at lower temperatures. With this thermometer we can now cook better at low/slow temperatures.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • I'll write later

Looks great. But it only lasted a few days!

The thermometer face became dark after a few uses. "White" dial turned almost black and the numbers are illegible! Can they be returned? I no longer have the package.

Pros
  • The dial has a glass lens with a red arrow to indicate the temperature.
Cons
  • Obsolete

Not exactly. best in temperature and humidity

First let me say that I am a baker. The thermometer looked pretty good with big and clear numbers. Using a thermometer it was off by more than 25 degrees. So thinking it was an oven, I asked the tech to check and calibrate my oven. I started baking the next day and found that the oven thermometer was still off by more than 25 degrees. I'm glad Revain was so good they either replaced it or refunded it. I decide to return this one and try something else.

Pros
  • temperature ranges from 100 to 600 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cons
  • Very expensive

Not exactly! fits thermometer

Bought "Two Packs" as I have two ovens and as the oven is new I wanted to make sure the temperature was right. To test, I put BOTH devices in the same oven and started at 325 degrees for an hour and checked the sensors. One of the pressure gauges deviates from the other by 25 degrees. Raised the temp to 350, waited an hour and checked both gauges...still about 25 degrees difference. Made it to 450 (spent over 6 hours on this test). One gauge was fairly accurate, the other lagged behind by 20-30

Pros
  • Stainless steel construction for strength, durability and corrosion resistance.
Cons
  • Non-Automatic
