Great for boxing and cheap!

Great product if you want to save money on a sea green bag! Make sure you squeeze out all the air before adding water! Works great for boxing! I love them for the uppercuts

Very Strong: Mooring Buoys

These balloons were easy to inflate with a compressor and worked perfectly, protecting the boat from the concrete walls of the Erie Canal locks. I really intend to get bigger ones for the future as the 12" seemed a bit small to me.

Pros
  • strong finish
Cons
  • unreliable

Taylor Made should be well made but

Taylor Made should be well made and last but not least, don't buy the advertised SS bandage with a float. It does not fit! Luckily I had a suitable splint with me. Why would you advertise two items together that don't go well together?

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in white

Poor, no customer service

I bought Taylor buoys thinking it was a quality option. Unfortunately it isn't. You pay a premium price for a vinyl ball. Their "three valves" are stupidly difficult to inflate and one of them started leaking after 3 months. Called Taylor and customer service was non existent. Their warranty only covers breakage and they won't help with a valve problem. Bought some polyform balls to replace and hope they work better.

Will not inflate with Compressor Nozzle

Great wing with bad inflation valves. The instructions say you can inflate with a compressor nozzle (no needle) but I haven't been able to get this to work on 3 of the 4 I've bought. Shop the Professional Three-Piece Basketball Pump here at Revain. Uses a typical basketball needle with supercharger power and speed. Also, 2 out of 4 leaked through the valve. The support quickly sent a replacement, that shouldn't have happened.

50% failure Good for boats

I'm not sure if this is a specific supplier or direct manufacturer issue, but on average half these fenders won't withstand the pressure for more than a day. I bought four last season to replace my old fenders and this spring two couldn't take the pressure. I ordered two more spares this season and blew them up at home with the intention of replacing the ones on the boat the next day. The next morning one of the two was partially deflated. A solid 50% failure rate within a few months and on two

Maybe 5 stars though.

I have a total of 12 Taylor hard tip grand pianos. Cylindrical 6-8", buoy 2-18" and buoy 4-12". The material is very good quality but the three valves are stiff. It is easy to inflate but 5 out of 12 won't hold air. After experimenting with 30 viscosity oil, WD 40 and even a degreaser to try and get the valves to hold the 5 failing valves, I finally found a cure, remove the valve, wipe with alcohol then coat the entire valve with Dawn dish soap, including the threads, reinstall, inflate and…

Very good fenders: Boating & Sailing

I actually bought a size up than recommended and am glad I did. Those are great bumpers. I was leaking in both when I got them but I just pulled the valve and lubricated them with zero ring grease and the problem was solved. Inflated them for a few months and they are perfect. Much better than the cylindrical fenders I've used all my life. Highly recommended, but watch out for the size. The more the merrier when it comes to protecting your boat. Performance wise they get 5 stars but I'm giving…

seem very strong but hard to figure out how to inflate

The buoys came with no inflation instructions. I tried going to YouTube to see how, but I couldn't get my . I tried using a bike tire pump with TMP inflation needles and just couldn't pump air after unscrewing what I thought was the top of the valve. The next day I took the buoys to my wharf to be inflated. Here we found that the full valve had to come out to let air in. One of the buoys could not take air because the full valve broke into 2 pieces, one stuck in the buoy and the other came out…
