I am very happy with this Lazy Susan turntable. It's sturdy and spins easily, especially with all the items I put on it. I'm not sure why I waited so many years to buy one. Ok I only give 3 stars because the rotating mechanism on the bottom is cheap small diameter plastic and fixed with a screw in the middle, it is non-slip, slippery. It's a nice smooth wood of a decent size, but a bit thin and very malleable (oil absorbs instantly). Poor design makes the 14 rack very shaky. I had to measure the mechanism on the underside before placing items on it, but it can't be more than 4 inches in diameter resulting in that the surface to tilt terribly when objects are removed. I need more of this size so I'll use Costco brand plastic but it won't be so bad that it's worse than having to move things around to get what you want on yourself. I bought this to display and care for bonsai (miniature) trees. The rotating mechanism is very stable and thin enough not to be distracting.
