Is it flawless? No. But for the price it's damn good!

As advertised and the price is excellent. I had to add a few wraps of tape to the tape holder as it's small for a standard roll. But it is okay. The paper stoppers are a bit loose and the thumbscrews are too small. But you only have to fiddle with it once, once set up this annoyance is quickly forgotten. I bought it for professional camouflage tasks, I needed a small size to take up less space in the store. Very happy with it. Ribbon and paper are very well matched. Would buy again.

  • Finally bought

4 stars - Not perfect but better than hand gluing

I like the ability to feed 12-18 inch paper and glue both ends of the paper (only 18 inches) I don't like the instructions, particularly the description of the mounting screw size . No info on installing the spring (it fell off in transit and I have no idea where to put it. The hardware that came with it doesn't fit and I had to use some local shims to make it work. Also the roll of tape holder is loose on 3m yellow Auto Tape Not sure if it's better for store bought rolls but for the price it…

Great car, terrible instructions

Obviously the engineer who designed it wasn't the one who signed the instructions. It's a great tool but the instructions may have been written by a 12 year old as he's missing the part on how to properly assemble and use the cloaking machine. I hope to get TCP compensation for this. The spring runs under the blade and the paper with the tape attached runs in between, it holds the inserted paper after it has been cut. The correct loading method is shown in my picture, not the seller's picture…

Got what I paid for

Revain have two very similar products the other is Astro #4577 about $15 more expensive. Since they were identical I went with this one from TCP Global as it was cheaper. I agree with most of the comments here that the instructions are poor and I was also missing some equipment. A few wing nuts were missing from the hardware. Honestly, it's not that important. A youtube video helps figure out how to put it together and really if you lay out the hardware and just look at the instructions it's…

Pros
  • Like everyone else so far
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Pretty solid - masking tools and equipment

I have two large TCP maskers in my shop so I decided to buy them for my home paint booth to paint small secondary projects. For the negatives, one of the side feet was drilled back, two M10 roller grip screws were missing, 3 nuts were missing and the instructions were inaccurate so don't use them. I attached the side panel with a drill press; However, I still think it can work if you don't have a drill press. For missing parts I had my own metric nuts and bolts, if you don't have them you can…
