Team Performance Aluminized Sleeving Protection Review

This is exactly what I needed to insulate the fuel line from the chassis to the carburetor on my 1950 Studebaker Champion to eliminate vapor locks. This is a much better solution (and looks) than wrapping the fuel line in aluminum foil.

Used to protect the power steering fluid supply line from a remote container. Works great and was easy to install. The line runs a few inches from the exhaust manifold and the original line burned out immediately. The new one with the heat shield is still holding up.

This was needed to change the fuel filter on my Duramax diesel and it worked flawlessly! I needed to route the fuel hoses over the turbo along the hood so I wanted to wrap the fuel hoses with thermal foil. Everything went great and looks very professional. It not only protects against heat, but also against extreme cold.

These sleeves are made of good material! It was necessary to wrap the shifter cable after installing the distributors on my truck. There is a section that is only an inch from touch, but I've concluded that this shield is doing what it was designed to do after checking the cable a few times. The price also seems lower than other brands.

These heat reflective sheets are useful when you need to block radiant heat. Especially during the heat of hot summer days. I bought different sizes 3/4" + 1/2" for my 80's Toyota. My fuel lines and various other plumbing were wrapped for reassurance. No complaints, and it's cheaper than the retail versions of this stuff, too.

C6 Corvette A/C Intake Line near the Right Hand Exhaust Manifold. with a JB-Weld swab. Installation went well and looks neat with white zip ties. Would buy a 1 1/2 ID product if available. The remainder of the material is used to protect the differential oil cooler lines near the muffler.

I just bought a 68ft Camaro and had a vapor lock. Two gas lines were located directly above the aluminum heads, and they ignited the gas. I am very happy with the thickness of these sleeves! There was no need to remove the tough lines as the Velcro made installation easier. Having ridden with sleeves on, I have yet to experience vapor lock! They seem to protect and insulate really well! I highly recommend!
