I probably wouldn't buy any other. But for the price it works for what I need. Cheaply made and a perfect fit. The screw-on wing nut does not fit the recessed top hole, giving it a more streamlined look. I had to make a teflon gasket thick enough for the wing nut to tighten without touching the top cover. It's easier to show in a picture than to try to explain. General. it looks good and average

I would not buy it again. It has areas closer to the center where there is no cotton material. I didn't notice this when I first got it because the red "stuff" hid it. I say "stuff" because it's supposed to be red oil soaking the cotton, but it looks like it's red paint. After working on it for a while I took it off and noticed that a lot of light came through. Shipping was fast but packaging was badly damaged: 8-10 inch hole in box, big enough for one hand. It may be the courier's fault. There were a few scratches on the filter housing on the top and bottom plates. The most annoying problem is that the Y-shaped lock nut doesn't fit into the slot in the lid, which prevents the lid from locking completely. First air filter for my freshly assembled Resto Mod frame. I also purchased 2 identical rocker cover breathers from another Revain manufacturer/seller. This is a very well made and beautiful air filter. As someone pointed out in another review, the base plate is not chrome, but it turns out my existing air cleaner had a chrome base plate that I was able to replace. I gave 4 stars for value as the bottom plate is supposed to be chrome plated but other than that it's exactly what I was looking for to get my hood scoop working.
