Based on our own experience, this teardrop-shaped stopper is functional and stylish. Made from stainless steel, it gives an aesthetically pleasing look in our kitchen drawer. Its design is excellent, and it fits well in almost all wine bottles. The only drawback is that it may get a little stuck in corked wine, but it can be quickly taken care of by gently twisting it.

If sharpening with a mandrel, note that the base is smaller than the corks you buy elsewhere. That way the wood will hang a little over the stopper unless you are cutting the wood. A little bevel on all after the first one solved the problem.

I wanted a quality stainless steel cap and got it. Proper sealing with just an o-ring was my initial concern, but they work great in any bottle of wine or spirits. They don't fit on a beer bottle, but who uses a decorative beer bottle stopper? I highly recommend them!
