Amazing Substance - Abrasives & Finishes

The back was finished with 5000 grit sandpaper and the front with 14000 grit diamond compound. The back took almost an hour by hand and the front 20 minutes with a rotary tool. I have to order 50,000 and 100,000, I only used a dab the size of a grain of rice. This item will last a long time.

Excellent for fine, mirror-like polishing of most stones (up to 8 hardness).

This paste is excellent for finishing and the oil content right down to the diamond particles is just perfect for that finish. I see some people complaining that the particles are too little and too greasy. I'm not sure if they're good at fine machining, where it's perfect for "flow" and "surface tension". The company certainly knows what it is doing. Rate the product and recommend it for related purposes.

I was disappointed: Abrasives & Finishes

I chose this product because it gives you twice as much as a big brand diamond paste. Unfortunately I only noticed later that this is only a 10% concentration of diamond particles. The best diamond pastes have a concentration of 50%. By getting twice as much paste I was NOT getting twice as many diamond particles. Another issue I had was that the product appeared to be partially dry. It was very difficult to squeeze out of the tube and difficult to work with my leather belt. I could probably…
