Feet for sports 3D printer

I don't play squash with them so I can't comment on that, but they are the perfect feet for my 3D printer. Absorbs vibrations from machine movements and makes the printer quieter. I see no reason why they won't last very long.

  • Confident

Quiet's tennis and racquet 3D printer

I printed a bracket to attach to the bottom of the Ikea suitcase and placed it inside. I used to be able to hear my printer vibrating on the top floor of my house, but it's quiet there now. I don't know how to play squash with them but they muffle the sound well.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Fits

Perfect feet for Prusa MK3 with Bear frame!

makes my printer completely silent. After upgrading my Prusa MK3 frame to a Bear frame, my case became a printer boombox. The resonance of the motors and the axle was almost deafening. These squash balls completely drowned out any noise, making the printer absolutely silent!

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • there are problems

Superb vibration isolators

Like many others, I use them as vibration isolators for my 3D printer (CR-10 Mini). I first bought an anti-vibration pad but that didn't help much. Then I learned about pumpkin legs; 3D printed legs that attach under the printer. Squash balls fit perfectly in these legs and act as vibration dampeners. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Price

Greetings dear 3D printing lovers!

Disclaimer: I didn't buy them for squash. For me, however, it made a huge difference. If you play squash these ratings can confuse you. You might think that a lot of 3D printers love pumpkin too. I'm sure there are many squash-loving 3D printer enthusiasts out there, but the fact of the matter is these particular squash balls are great for printing. Legs! They isolate the printer from the surface it stands on and make it significantly quieter. The price is great, and the fact that there are 4…

Who would have thought?

I use them off label but to soundproof my 3D printer based on recommendations from others who have done the same. After I printed the nests for them, I replaced the feet on my printer with the new setting. I also re-leveled the build platform before proceeding. To be honest, I was skeptical until I did my first test print. WOW what a difference! Almost 80% or 90% of vibration and noise has been reduced. The only noticeable noise came from the stepper motors themselves. This will be fixed in…
