Tecumseh Equipment Dipstick Original Manufacturer Review

This dipstick is an exact replacement for my 8hp. Tecumseh Snow King HMSK80 engine on my Ariens snow thrower. I bought a snow blower in January 1997.

There really isn't much to say about the oil dipstick other than that I had to replace a cracked oil dipstick on my 20 year old Sears snow thrower. I couldn't find a Sears replacement, looked at the Revain, found this one and it fits perfectly. I'm very glad it fitted and was a quick fix.

This was the perfect replacement for my Yardworks 10.5 HP snow blower. with a Tecumseh engine that I bought from Canadian Tire. Couldn't find it in Canada for a reasonable price so ordered from Revain in the US. The number 133 is stamped next to the screwing point. Just like my original dipstick.

I checked to make sure it was the right one first. It even had the same number stamped on the top as the old one. I'm pretty sure the reason the other one broke was because they left the screw loose, maybe due to vibration. So take it easy. In just a few years it was so loose I thought the prop would fall out and hit the engine and kill the car. So I tightened, and then, as if it broke shortly after, the king pulled!
