Light sensor issues

I am having issues with the light sensor, sometimes it won't turn on the light when paper is in front of the scanner. I'll try this on my laptop to see if it works better

We have purchased several of these scanners. We have .

We have purchased several of these scanners. We had to replace one of about 20 scanners that just died. The light didn't come on. Revain replaced it and everything else worked fine.

Good build, great support.

Very stable on a plastic table, accurate scans and very good tech support. The volume was very loud but a simple phone call told us how to lower the scan volume and remove the extra character that was added after the scan.

Good, reliable and easy to set up scanner.

Worked well with Raspberry Pi and 2D barcodes. It has a large scanning range and a good response time. I've run it in an environment where it scans 150 barcodes a day and it works fine. One downside is that it can double scan if you're not careful.

Works great, easy to read.

They have replaced some pretty basic 1D scanners in our shop. It's great to be able to scan a barcode without worrying about the angle or the whole barcode being flat. This will read things very easily. It uses white LED light to illuminate the product and read barcodes. This is easy to set up with instructions online if you don't like the default configuration. For example, our POS doesn't like UPC-E codes, but we can extend it to UPC-C. It would be nice if a manual was included, but it's very
