Worked great on Camry se 2014.5. Connects directly to the rear lights, the cables are not swapped. The 12v wire from the controller to the battery is a little awkward to run through the car with a wire harness, but I think you could tie it under the frame. Instead of pulling the plug out of the trunk lid, I routed it through the floor of the trunk on the driver's side where there is a rubber choke. Worked great and can be stowed in the trunk of the elements.

I bought this T connector for my 2007 Mazda CX7 Touring. Works perfectly on a trailer. The hardest part is routing the black wire from the trunk to the engine bay, but if you're not in a hurry it's doable. The price is the lowest I've seen and shipping is free. U HAUL and trailer E have the same seat belts but are more expensive. I am very happy. Just a quick update. The T-connector and connectors still work great, I haven't had any issues or issues.

Easy to install once you access the taillights from the trunk. There are 3 connectors in total and they will not fit the wrong connectors. Might do it blindfolded as the plugs don't fit in the right places yet. Instead of running a power cable from the front of the car to the rear module, I just connected the cigarette lighter plug to the module. My Camry has 2 cigarette lighters. Worked great in my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. It wasn't a big deal to install. The fj's access panels are a little small (but that's Toyota's fault, not the maker of this kit). It's also a lot of fun to route the wire from the battery to the tail light area. I routed my wire through the side and slipped it under the driver's side panel and then under the door panel and through the grommet just above the brake pedal.
