Easy Installation

Not easy to install. You must be able to raise your car far enough to route the power wire up front, and connecting wires to the turn signal connectors is a hassle. Worse, the right turn signal failed 2 weeks after installation. I only need this for a scooter lift that doesn't have turn signals so I just left it alone instead of messing around with removing and reinstalling.

Pros
  • T-One trailer harness connectors require no splicing of vehicle wires. Just find your vehicle wiring harness connector, disconnect and plug the T-One connector into your vehicle wiring harness
Cons
  • Lots of things

Fun Trailer Wiring Project

This was a fun project for my 2018 Ford Escape. The car does not have an easy connection, so a little work is required. You will need to remove the taillights, fairings and grommets and route the wires through. I ended up using 12vdc from the taillight so I didn't have to run a wire to the front battery. After all, I have an established trailer connection that works great!

Pros
  • Easy to follow DIY instructions included in each pack; no special tools required for installation
Cons
  • Something else

Lasted only a few months

About an hour and a half later I installed and started working. After about 3.5 months this product started turning off my tail light. After disconnecting, my tail light came back on, but I didn't have a turn signal on my trailer because it wasn't plugged in. A month later, my brake lights on the trailer didn't work. I tried another machine and it worked. So this product lasted 4 months. This is my second phone I've bought and the first one died after about 7 months. Unfortunately I have to…

Pros
  • 16 gauge cable with 4 pin connector and cap; Brake/Turn Signal Circuit Capacity 4.2A; 7.5 A capacity of the rear light circuit; Upgraded Protected Module ModuLite HD
Cons
  • For Retirees
