Analog meter with light

This is the second meter I have bought as it is well made. The screen is very clear and backlit despite being an analog meter.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • dull packaging

this is a great buy. A little problem

This is an analog multimeter, not a digital multimeter. and is housed in a very robust, well-protected housing. Accuracy is within +- 3% of specifications. For the price this is a great buy. A small problem: The information in the supplied "User's Guide" is wrong. The DC input impedance is 20 kΞ©/V in the range 0.1 to 50 V, not 9 kΞ©/V. And I wish there was a better, more comprehensive user manual.

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

This is a great meter for the price

This is a great meter for the price I use it for everyday work mainly to trace minor ground faults which even Fluke can do . t Read data or function value hops with auto-ranging throughout creation. This meter makes it easy to see where the problems are. I've been using these for over 10 years. I got rid of my Simpsons and Triplets multimeters, too big and expensive. This purchase was to replace my backup gauge that another tech needed, so he bought it. The only change is replacing the test…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • I don't like it everything is fine

The best analog multimeter I could find for the time I need it.

In case you need an analogue device (You'll get it if you are.) (Digital is a pain if it even jumps.) It's a solid choice. I had analog a few years ago and I had digital, but then I got crazy with something that was jumping around. It was the best I could find. Note, take 20x5mm fuses, they are 250V-10A and 250V-500mA. They also explode if you hit something too hot. I wish these things came with CIRCUIT BREAKERS! (Manufacturer. Are you listening?) But I can't explain it because of the fuses…

Pros
  • Rugged construction
Cons
  • Replacement availability
