Size is marked both with a high-visibility laser marking and a permanent stamped marking that won't wear off. 6-point socket opening provides an exact fit for hex fasteners. Radiused corners prevent fastener round-off by applying force to a fastener's flat sides, rather than its corners. Meets a minimum of 1.3 times the ANSI/ASME standard for proof torque. Overall Socket Length: 3.08 inches. Socket End Diameter: 2.05 inches. Drive End Diameter: 1.58 inches. Socket Well Depth: 1.41 inches.

Excellent quality product

I used this socket on my 2003 F150 rebuild. I bought it separately because I don't usually keep it in my tool box. I liked the quality of the tool and the durability. I've used it with an impact wrench and it's held up well. I would recommend it!

Affordable and functional

Bought this socket and another to complete my set of 1/2" impact sockets a lot from my store and found this socket to be a new product for the money. I recommend purchasing.

Proper size for power tools and hand tools

Difficult to find a socket this large (1-5/16) that fits a 1/2" screwdriver. The size requires a larger screwdriver (3/4") where it will fit in a ratchet like most home tool kits. This 1-5/16 socket is perfect for the large nut on the front end of the latest MGB crankshaft so I used the Engine can turn by hand This is a rare use for me but very important for adjusting valve clearance and valve timing.

Land Rover Discovery

Both 27mm and 28mm versions purchased. My 02" Land Rover Discovery has "clogged" nuts. When new 27mm is perfect for jam nuts. In my experience. After a trip to the shop/tyre shop the 28mm head works great (as I assume that the right size 27mm head is something they don't have/or don't know how to use and they end up using a similar SAE socket sized) thus ruining the "hat" nuts , which would make a 27mm head no longer fit and therefore require a 28mm head.)
