Excellent quality lever! There is actually some kind of metal screw that you can turn to adjust the tension. I've used it with disc brakes and it works great.

They fit great on my son's bike. Replaced the brakes as they kept falling off and damaging the original brakes. It's a lot easier for him to pull them, and he's better at hanging out with those bad guys.
