🔆 Luminous Variable Darkening Hemispherical by Tekware Review

I love this product! I've been using it almost daily since September 15, 2020. The headband broke three days ago and now it's sitting in the back of my truck seat. Is there a replacement headband?

Where your chin hurts, you need to do something so it doesn't hurt your chin. The instructions need an overhaul, do these two things and get 5 stars if you don't get this.

I was very impressed with my first $90 hood after 2 years of welding and I got this one and it literally lasted 1 job before the headband fell apart! Very cheaply made and could have used a better headband design! I am very unhappy because they don't want to help me get a new headband through the website so they ask me to just buy another helmet and use this headband because they don't sell them separately! Big mistake and I will never buy from TEKWARE Welding again!

Virtually unsuitable for TIG welding thin sheet metal. With a fresh battery, flip the helmet's switch to "Weld" and the sensitivity goes all the way up, but I still get flashes from time to time when the auto tint turns off. Welding was done indoors with a flashlight overhead. I had really high expectations for this mask - it looks cool, it's comfortable, the viewing window is huge and it looks well constructed. My daughter wants to wear it for Halloween! Unfortunately, in the 20 minutes I used, the mask came off in the middle of the weld 3 times. Which is totally unacceptable for a welding helmet. Great hood for the price! I've been using it at work for two weeks. I'm a shipyard welder and as shipyard workers know it's not worth spending money on expensive hoods. How cheap this lens hood was, the clarity and field of view reminds me of my old Optrel Vegaview 2.5 I used to do. As a woman who works in industry, with a small head, it is difficult to find hats, hoods, something that is difficult to work with, but it fits perfectly with the headgear adjustment. Great helmet, the auto dimming functions are perfect, the field of view and the new style of 'blue' shading is great. I also like the double top strap on the headpiece. However, the plastic that makes up the gears and teeth is very soft and half of the teeth are exposed the first few uses. I'm sure this is partly because I'm a very small hat size (6 7/8 for a fitted hat) so it's always difficult to get a hat on and secure it on my head.
