Great unit super fast service just not the part I need

I thought this splitter would allow me to go from a duplex jack with two different phone lines to a separate jack for each to go line. I have a plug that allows two devices to share the same phone line, which I don't have. Probably my fault. I can't find the device I need anywhere.

Easy to install and work too well

When our landline went down I finally figured out the problem with the built in splitter. After checking all the local retail stores within a 15 mile radius, I found that (a) old landline phones didn't seem to be much to find anymore and (b) replacement parts were almost impossible to find. Then I checked Revain and found a wide variety of splitters. Since this remedy had many good reviews, I decided to give it a try. Great quality and almost 2 for the price of 1 ($1 more)

For $1 more you get 2 splitters instead of 1.1) I bought this product because the picture clearly showed what I wanted. Split my phone jack into 2 for phone and fax. 2) Being electronics they either work or they don't, so I figured getting 2 for the price of 1 gives me a safety backup without having to go through returns and the like. 3) I bought this product to replace another splitter that didn't have a short phone cord but had a solid piece of plastic that when trying to plug it into my cord
