Bottom Line: Working

Received this for training a service rep to call a call center. Bottom line - it works. It looks like it could turn down the volume of the service worker. The caller complains that he's a little hard to understand, so you have to raise your voice. Otherwise, the product does exactly what it promises. I would buy it again if needed.

Works great for connecting a regular phone headset to an IP phone

I've been searching and searching for an adapter so I can connect a universal phone headset to my IP phone and at the same time use my phone. I went to Fries and the customer service representative told me I needed a splitter. I bought this one and it works great so I bought another one for my colleague.

Does a very good job especially at a low price

We bought 2 of these for our Mitel 5330 IP phones and they work great! We use them for teaching purposes and the sound quality of the regular headsets we use varies from good (with one headset plugged in) to decent (with two headsets plugged in), but that can be a flaw with cheap headsets. By decent sound I mean we're using speakerphone for the caller on the other end. Still very acceptable and by no means a real criticism and anyone who has used this for educational purposes has had nothing…

Great for parallel webinar training

Purchased for webinar training for two people at home to complete a project at home on a computer with two monitors and two Plantronics headsets in a Plantronics headset base start. with this adapter. No static, clear outgoing and incoming voices. That it doesn't have a mute switch isn't a problem, we have a headset-based mute switch. I ordered three different adapters just in case. This one costs $5.99, the other $9.99, the third around $15.99. This cheaper option is the best in terms of…
