I bought this ladder to use with our RV but found many other uses around the house. It is convenient to adjust to any desired height up to the maximum range. It's not a spring, but it's lighter than a traditional retractable ladder.

Slightly disappointed as it arrived in a damaged condition. I have limited use for my job and haven't had time to return it.
