Heavier but much safer!
Heavier than expected at 25 pounds compared to 15 pounds for cheaper models. The extra weight keeps me from falling. Too many reports of thinner black plastic bottles breaking. This ladder won't do it, but watch your hands! I've pinched my finger (just the skin) even though I knew it! The safe partial lowering of the sections was a clever additional safety feature. Great stairs. Remember to climb 2-3 feet higher than the RV for better stability when going from the ladder to the roof.
