Less than a month later the cable on the motor connector is almost twisted. Not for heavy use as I only use it for wood carving for about 2 hours every other day and use multiple rotary tools so it doesn't even work consistently. Maybe I have a lemon, the engine seems decent.

For the money this is a manageable device. The torque is so great that when you step on the pedal, the motor spins so hard that it rips the shaft out of your hand. I had to mount mine on a board coming down from the ceiling and tie it with metal tie. It's louder than I would like compared to any others I've had.
