Wool Ironing Pad BAD

Hair Loss. There are no instructions on what NOT to do. I was steam ironing over my very large Omnigrid cutting mat and DAMAGED the cutting mat which COST MORE THAN A WOOL CARPET. Deforms it without the possibility of using it. You need clear instructions!

You will love this rug!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this wool ironing mat! I put it in a pillow case and pinned the end and also used it on the table to cut out patterns (just with scissors). It turns so easily. I just move the pad to cut instead of moving the material. BONUS for using!

Nice ironing mat for the price

This is a really nice thick set of ironing mats. I was impressed by how well they worked on my quilting. My only complaint is that some fibers lift after the first use, but for the price and performance, that doesn't bother me.

BIG CHOICE in the middle of the last

This was VERY disappointing. The little pillow was great. The larger pillow had a large knot. quarter side and all the way across the square. It was impossible to iron a blanket on it. I received it in April. I'm still debating whether to return or exchange it. $45 down the drain.

Do not buy this item to sew

This item stinks. It smells like a chemical solvent, although the description says it doesn't contain any chemicals. We bought it about 2 weeks ago and used it twice and I let it air out for two days but it still smells. I tried to contact the manufacturer but they didn't respond to my message. hope i get my money back

Love it! Feel free to buy!

I was skeptical that this rug would actually work as advertised. I received mine and just had a chance to try it. Oh God. why didn't I find it earlier in my sewing career. it definitely works. With my old ironing board, I had to really struggle to get the smooth material, but this rug is just magical. It smoothes seams and smooths wrinkles without effort. I like it.

Uneven surface, strong smell.

I don't usually leave reviews for the products I buy, but I needed to let others know that I was dissatisfied with this product. The surface is very uneven, it is difficult to press the quilt blocks onto the uneven surface. There is also a very strong sheepy smell that is transferred to the fabric along with the fibers of the carpet. I would not recommend buying this product. I'm not sure what to do with these rugs, but I'm thinking of buying another one to press quilt blocks onto.
