Not a single click

So I bought this for my soul to tighten the transmission oil pan on my car after changing the filter. I have the settings correct but when I tighten it doesn't click and I've tried 17 screws and no click. I just started tightening them by feel as the wrench wasn't working properly.

Avoid at All Costs Best in Power & Hand Tools

Mine just doesn't work. Worse, when I contacted the Amazon seller, I got NO RESPONSE. It's been a while but I think I contacted the manufacturer directly and got no response. I have never been disappointed by an instrument in my life. Til today. I adjusted the torque, twisted and twisted, got no response, and broke the composite shaft on the Beretta A400. It seems like a well made instrument that I plan to keep for the rest of my life. The "box" for storage is also good. It looks like a very strong, thick, molded plastic. I think it…

Don't click. avoid.

Bought this specifically for the sole purpose of tightening my water pump bolts which requires 11 ft-lbs or 132 in-lbs. This water pump is attached to the engine block. So I have complete confidence in this torque wrench. I set the torque and started tightening the bolts, as I tightened I expected a click, it tightens more and more, the only thing I felt shortly after was the THREAD removal. My heart sank as the bolts now spin free and free. Coolant will now leak from the screws and gasket. The
