Well done, you can't go wrong

Well done, you can't go wrong; I could probably use another one. It can be configured with Anderson Powerpole connectors like I did and will work almost anywhere in my solar or generator backup system for my ham shack. Compared to similarly designed MFJ and West Mountain Radio units, they are much cheaper, but potentially more reliable (judging by the picture comparison; I don't have any MFJ or West Mountain Radio units, so can't say for sure).

  • One year trial
Cons

Switch with defect: the buyer repaired

The block arrived with a factory defect. The installer twisted the lugs on the switch, damaging the internal mechanism. I bought a new switch and replaced it myself believing they are no longer made.

  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not working

Well done. for accessories and consumables

Used in my radio booth as a central outlet from my power supply. The only thing I wanted was a 100 ammeter. But it works well with Thai radios that draw fewer amps.

Harder than I thought.

The first thing I noticed after unboxing it was that it was heavier than I expected. A plus. In addition, the power cords that connect to your power supply are made from heavy-duty 8 ga wire with wide copper connectors at the end. There's nothing flimsy about them. Much too long. The ammeters work perfectly. Since I already know that I have a particular radio that draws 10 amps, after plugging it in, the meter reads 10 amps. So it works. The counters read zero until you turn on the radio or…

Great product at a great price.

I was very impressed with the quality of this product. I connected it to a 13.8 volt 30 amp power supply which I use to power my ham radios. When transmitting, they draw about 23 amps. I had no problems transmitting with either radio and the extension worked flawlessly.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have emerged

Glitch or time bomb?

As an amateur ham radio operator I needed a power distribution center for my radio, an SWR meter, an HT power supply and a few other items and it seemed like a better option than the MFR that everyone has It's called "Mighty Fine Junk"." So I ordered one. Expensive, but there aren't many products like this on the market. It arrived quickly, was packaged well, looked solid enough. I hooked it up my Astron RS-35M, my radio, my SWR meter and turned it on. It was fine for about five minutes, then I
