The description of this collar is not precise. It says 18" but is too small even for a dog with a 15" neck. This is more for my 6 lb Maltese due to its size after it can go over his head. Trust me she is tiny. If you are looking for a medium sized dog you would be about twice the size of this one. I hope my review helps.

I promised to only buy American made products starting this year and was confident I found what I was looking for. Weaver has a factory just down the road in Ohio. Of course I was very disappointed to find that they had purchased this item from a supplier in Taiwan. If I wanted a foreign collar, I could save a lot of money and time by going to WalMart. Aside from a broken promise to myself, the collar fits well and looks good.
