Solid but not impressive, great price

I recently switched to merino wool socks and have found that they contain a lower percentage of merino wool than what I usually buy. As I was planning on wearing them in my work boots I didn't need the thick/warm ones as I wanted them to be dry. I have used them daily in a pair of Chippewa 25410 for work and find them to be above average comfortable socks. The construction seems to be a bit above average; less durable than the People's Socks I have to compare them to, but they're much thicker…

Pros
  • Good fit

Medium merino wool socks

Merino wool socks are too thin for me. I ended up wearing them to work over old merino wool socks with holes, they looked great and breathed well. Now that the summer weather has arrived and I wear them alone, they breathe surprisingly well but offer almost no insulation. They also form pebbles on the outside of the fabric after washing. These are regular merino wool socks which are still better than the regular 10 pack crew socks as they breathe so well, rarely if ever smell after wear and you

Pros
  • Even old people can understand
Cons
  • It's hard to remember, but it was

Rock! Wool Socks: Outdoor Activities

Rock! Wool Socks! I have these socks in black, navy blue and grey. They are thin enough to be worn with dress shoes, but thick enough to be worn with sneakers, boat shoes and hiking boots. I have thicker wool socks for serious hiking but these socks work well for any other activity. Terramar produces good quality socks that keep their shape and useful properties even after repeated washing. These aren't the softest wool socks you can buy, but they work as expected. And you can't beat the price.

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Almost Never
