Because of the advertised "40% merino wool" I had high hopes for this shirt. It turns out that the shirt has two layers, and only one of those layers is 40% merino wool, which really makes it look more like 20% merino wool. Unfortunately, this showed in the performance. The return policy isn't great either, so be aware.

I never thought I would have to write a review for a shirt but this is a great product so I thought I'd let others know. The fabric is very soft and very warm due to the wool blend, but at the same time light. And it looks good too. I will definitely buy more of these.

my friend has this top. I love it so much I bought it for my brother who works outdoors in Boston during the winter. It is soft cotton on the inside and soft wool on the outside. It's very cozy and warm, but thin - so you'll feel very comfortable. Love it.

I bought this shirt for my teenage son. We live in Florida so we only need warm clothes occasionally. The material is really nice, very soft and warmer than the weight would suggest. It's perfect for chilly days/nights and actually looks more elegant than the picture, more like a sweater. I also bought green. I am very happy with the purchase
