Works well as a single midweight base layer on cool days or as a layer on cold days. I wear a size L shirt, but I wear up to XL as recommended for all compression garments. The shirt is stretchy, supportive and very comfortable. I found that the fleece caught some hair on my chest, but I set it in place with an anti-chafing balm to smooth the hair. This is a great addition to my fall/winter outfit.

I find this to be a good base layer for cold weather golf (ie 35°-65°) as it keeps you warm without significantly restricting movement. If you're not used to compression underwear, you might feel like they're "tight," but that feeling goes away over time. I don't usually wear a golf shirt over it. On cold days, I wear these sleeveless thermo-compression shirts under my cycling jersey. I wear the standard thin, moisture-wicking sleeveless underwear, this thermal shirt and jersey plus handheld sunglasses for days around 60F.
