Description of TESmart HDMI 4K60Hz Ultra HD 2X1 HDMI KVM Switch 3840X2160 @ 60Hz 2 USB 2

Share your monitor, keyboard, and mouse between your home desktop and work laptop - saving you a lot of money and headaches and eliminating the need to buy monitors and keyboards (not to mention the space required for additional hardware). Easy to change in several ways - 1. buttons on the front, 2. IR remote control (does not include the CR2025 battery), 3. key combinations for the keyboard, 4. mouse gestures-quick change, 5. automatic change in a certain time interval (adjustable). No setup required. Simply plug and play. Supports 4K at 60 Hz, 4: 4: 4 widescreen monitor, KVM with fast switching and with EDID emulators, so that the PC windows do not change in size when changing the computer. Additional USB 2.0 and audio connection - Share a USB hub, printer, microphone, memory, webcam and USB backup drives, etc. between the PCs. Grab the audio from the HDMI device. This eliminates the need to connect additional audio cables to each PC. Multiple operating systems-support Raspberry Pi and other Linux-based systems Unix / Windows / Debian / Ubuntu / Fedora / Mac OS X / Raspbian / Ubuntu; it is recommended to use the basic model keyboard and mouse together.

Great KVM for old Macbooks

I was looking for a solution to share my Samsung 4K monitor, keyboard and mouse between my home Macbook (Mid 2012 Retina Macbook) and a Dell work laptop. Seems like a simple solution, but I must have tried at least 5 KVMs before biting the bullet and paying the extra bucks for this TESmart model. So far it's working great! Installation was easy and included all the cables I needed. I installed it under my desk and use the remote to switch between inputs. I've only been using it for 3 weeks with

Pretty good but a little flaky

UPDATE: The keyboard input problem has gotten much worse - now occurs every 15 minutes. And now one of the monitor inputs stops working after switching. It's totally useless. [old review below] I got this to share my keyboard/mouse/main monitor between my work laptop and PC. When it works, it works great. After about a week it runs occasionally when typing with the keyboard/mouse. It gets into a state where it starts randomly repeating characters on the keyboard and the mouse jumps a bit every…

Doesn't work with my Logitech Performance MX wireless mouse

EDIT: 04/06/2020 - 1 star removed. Now my Sennheiser S60 USB headset has to be constantly unplugged/plugged in for Windows to recognize it AFTER I switch. These problems defeat the purpose of such a device. Too good to be true at the moment and I haven't received a response from the manufacturer for the first issue below. Today I sent another email. Let's see what her answer will be, if any. Some good news. I connected my speakers to the switch and it seems to work, but such poor design that…

2.5 stars, works pretty well with some issues

I needed to reconfigure my work from home and got this so I can use one monitor with my home and work computers and a separate one Monitor can have for each (total 3). This works pretty well, computers think the monitor is connected all the time so there are no resolution or configuration changes when switching. There are just a few annoying moments that prevent me from giving it a higher rating. 1. There is no battery for the remote - that's not a problem for me, I still have it right in front

Cheapest 4K/60Hz KVM I've found

Definitely 4K switched to 60Hz; verified by Windows 10 display settings. This is one of the few KVMs on Windows that switches video at this quality. Keyboard and mouse emulators are VERY basic, so you lose special keyboard key functions (volume, playback controls, etc.) and all fancy mouse buttons. The mouse is also very slow; So late that I'm now using separate mice (mice?) connected directly to two computers on this KVM. If you're willing to put up with emulator issues, this is a great value.

Almost Perfect: KVM Switches

This awesome switch is a huge space saver for those of us who now work from home and use two laptops on one desk (office computers can only be used in the company). I am using TESmart connected to two laptops (work and home) via a shared wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, external 34" monitor and printer. A simple press of the yellow button simply toggles the computers. I've been using it for three months and it has worked flawlessly. Rating 5 stars means to me that the product is perfect. It's

Bad USB connection

I knew the USB ports for keyboard and mouse would only support the most basic of devices, and I was willing to connect both to a USB peripheral through a hub. I didn't expect that connecting a mouse via KVM would cause it to intermittently freeze, freeze, and then jump across the screen. I have verified that this only happens when the mouse is connected via KVM (either via the mouse's dedicated port or via an additional USB 2.0 port). This makes using a mouse over KVM extremely cumbersome…

Performs like a Champion KVM Switch

The TESmart KVM Switch is smaller than it looks in the photos. It has rubber feet that grip the table and it has a nice slim profile. Very easy to use: Literally one button to toggle between device 1 and device 2. Comes with cables with USB and HDMI wrapped together in the same outer insulation, which means much less cable clutter than separate cables. I use it to share a wireless keyboard, wireless mouse and high-resolution monitor between a tower computer and a laptop. The keyboard and mouse…

USB partition failed after only 4 days

on my desktop computer and Microsoft Surface Pro 4 installed. I have a USB mouse (Logitech M705 Wireless Interface) and a Kinginston USB keyboard through a hub Insignia USB 3.0 connected to TESmart Switch via USB port. On Saturday (September 14th) when only my desktop was connected, the keyboard and mouse stopped interacting with the desktop. Reset (turn on) your computer and the HDMI/USB switch and it will happen again. This also happened twice today (Sunday - September 15). Tried moving…
