Type of review

If there is line of sight to the product within 60cm, the remote control will work. However, with such a shutter, you could click the button yourself. There may be an annoying delay when using a Bluetooth/wireless keyboard or mouse. For the price I definitely expected more.

Pros
  • Beautifully packaged
Cons
  • Only available in black

Works great for external components

I am using KVM with three computers and works great. Switching between computers is easy with just a little lag. Mouse gestures work well, not very fluid. Happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Older model

At first glance this well designed and built KVM device is exactly what I was looking for. I really like that I can turn it off when not needed and quickly select the four devices I have connected through it. Worked well out of the box. I have owned this device for a year now and a few days ago the video portion was not working. Didn't work three days in a row. I unplugged all the cables, swapped a few and lo and behold it started showing part of the video again, however the image was very…

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • Fits

Will not last more than a year.

I bought this 7 months ago and the HDMI output has stopped working. Tried a different monitor, different resolution, etc. It just stopped working.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Power outlet required

Hardware failure after 5 days

Days 1-3: Worked as expected. Day 4: The keyboard was exhibiting strange symptoms - sluggishness, lags, stuttering when pressing the right ctrl key, etc. Day 5: UEFI/BIOS beeped loudly at boot, indicating the key HID devices (keyboard, mouse) were missing . When the GDM (Ubuntu) login screen came up, the keyboard and mouse were unresponsive.

Pros
  • Happy
Cons
  • Embarrassing
