Be sure to buy shoes according to the size chart. I have an 8 year old girl who wears size 3 Nike shoes (the Nike runs small). I gave her a 2 based on her foot measurements according to the TEVA sizing chart on their website. It was right. Her foot measures approximately 8 inches. It fits great with little room in the toe box (so there's room to grow, but you won't trip). She has a normal foot width - if her foot was wide I would buy her a 3. These shoes are a perfect fit for my 3 year old daughter, baby size 8. We've had them for a month and took them with us over the summer holidays to the beach, to the mountains and walked a lot through the streets of the city. My daughter said they were comfortable and didn't try to take them off every time she sat down. That's a win in my book! :).
