Comfortable sandals, size problem

These sandals are comfortable to wear. They have high arch support, which suits me very well. However, the size is wrong. I wear shoes 9.5. I order a pair in size 9. They are too big. I ended up changing size 9 to size 8 which fit me. So if you buy these sandals in the same size as your regular shoes, they will be great for you.

Pros
  • Great replacement for my old sandals.
Cons
  • Sandals can lose their shape if stored incorrectly.

Durable and comfortable

I have owned 3 pairs of Teva sandals over the past 30 years because each pair has lasted 10 years. I love to be outside, hiking or camping as much as possible and always wear Teva sandals.

Pros
  • The sandals are comfortable as expected, adapt to the foot, very good and recommended.
Cons
  • The straps tore my husband's legs to pieces. They were like sandpaper.

Comfortable but makes a creaking noise that is annoying

There is a plastic triangle holding 2 healing straps on a strap built into the sole. On my left sandal, this joint creaks when I walk. Very insignificant, but once noticed, I can't get it out of my head. Really annoying.

Pros
  • They are great for running miles a day!
Cons
  • They fit great, but smell even after several washes.

NOT WELL MADE - NO QUALITY SHOW

I've only been wearing shoes for a month and the strap on my boot has already snapped. I never thought I would only wear $60 shoes for 30 days, let alone TEVA. I am very disappointed and will NOT shop here again.

Pros
  • Hurricane 4 fits best
Cons
  • Sandals do not provide adequate support for people with foot problems.

Worn for years - same quality, same value

I've been wearing Tevas for many years. The quality remains great, the sizing is right and for the price, durability factor and versatility of the sandals (casual wear, watersports, light hiking/walking) I will continue to buy Teva products (they have a full line of shoes/sandals for different functions, many designs and colors, etc.)

Pros
  • I've been wearing Tevas since the 90's and nothing compares. The same thing.
Cons
  • The durability of the sandal may decrease with prolonged contact with water.

My bad opinion on my rating.

Teva changed sandals. They're not even close to what they used to be. My wife and I are both returning ours. Hopefully teva can go back to the original design they have been using for over 20 years. And the original glue that used to be eternal. wtf teva.

Pros
  • Like this one a lot
Cons
  • Sandals may not be suitable for people who require orthopedic support.

I will not buy again! good for me

The tread broke after 2 months of normal use. I've been buying Teva since the 90's. I wear them F, S, S to the beach, on the boat, around the house and on camping trips. They were always a bit overpriced but lasted a few years so it worked. But my last pair broke up at a month and 1/2 and they just weren't that comfortable. They felt cheap and poorly made! & you were! The cleaning quality has decreased. I no longer buy Teva and am switching brands.

Pros
  • The inner arch is not that big. I was hoping to get them with a big bow.
Cons
  • The navy blue color of the wavy trail may not suit all outfits or personal preference.

big and slippery good for me

I usually wear size 10 shoes, so I had to go for a size 9 for them to fit me well. Maybe someone prefers longer sandals, I prefer not to trip over them. It's okay, I could go back and get a smaller size. The construction is durable and comfortable. Two problems: the bottom of the sole is quite hard and there is a distinct noise when walking in it on a hard surface. In addition, traction on wet rocks and cobblestones is very poor. Not sure what compound it is, seems more plastic than rubber. I…

Pros
  • Would buy again
Cons
  • Sandals can give off an unpleasant odor if not properly cared for.

Nylon straps look like my sleeping bag.

These Teva sandals are unlike any I've bought before with nice sturdy straps. They're still pretty expensive, but of course don't look at them. They fit well. It's just not what I want to wear to a resort pool, you know?

Pros
  • I love Tevas. I think they are overpriced.
Cons
  • Sandal designs may not provide adequate toe protection.

Teva quality is declining

This isn't the old Teva. The sewing and gluing is getting worse and now only lasts 1-2 years instead of more than 5 years. I think this will be my last pair of Teva. I like my newly bought Ecco a lot more and I'm sure there are other brands out there that will fill the high quality niche that Teva has left for cheap mass production overseas.

Pros
  • My husband loves his new Teva shoes - they fit perfectly and are very comfortable.
Cons
  • Sandals can be small, making them uncomfortable for people with large feet.

Less than 5 months later the sole fell apart

I bought them in May 2022 and four months later the sole of the right sandal broke off at the top edge of the sandal while walking. At first I didn't understand what had happened. It seemed to me that I had caught the front of the sandal on the pavement as I was walking down the street. I looked and noticed the problem was that the sole was bent back. I could go home like a clown and put on hiking boots. I did get some Gorilla Glue and re-glued the sole sparingly, but it fell apart again the…

Pros
  • Cool

  • Sandals can squeak or make noise when walking on certain surfaces.

Large! .... good for me

Here's the thing... I thought it was for women until I started writing this review. Thank god I read the reviews about downsizing. 😂 Yes, because they are male. In any case, they fit true to size because they are male. I ordered size 8 and wear size 9 or 9.5 for women. They fit great and are really comfortable. BUY IT!

Pros
  • As for the interior
Cons
  • Sandal material may not be suitable for those with sensitive skin.

First, the ankle strap isn't long enough. There is a raised edge at the top of the shoe. This rim hurts the toes when touched (the old ones were smooth and flat). In short, I am very dissatisfied with this new model.

Pros
  • These are Great River sandals.
Cons
  • Sandals may not be suitable for people with conditions such as plantar fasciitis or flat feet.

Not comfortable - my new review

Apparently I was scammed for a "news" article that was actually an advertisement. He claimed that these sandals are the most comfortable ever and the sandals are on sale so hurry up and buy. I fell for it and did it. I paid $41 for it which is too much money. The straps are cut with hot wire and scratch like a cheap t-shirt tag, the arch support is too high and uncomfortable, plus the sandals are not at all soft and almost rock hard. I'll stick to my sketchers. much more convenient than this.

Pros
  • Ideal
Cons
  • Couldn't adjust to a wider foot.

They are perfect, just like Teva should be.

I love my women's Tevas and love them. I bought them for my boyfriend and he loves them too. We used them on a 20 mile hike and our feet were the only thing that didn't hurt afterward. They are also the best and highest quality.

Pros
  • One of my best purchases on this site. These sandals have traveled the world with me.
Cons
  • The fit was good, the product came loose at the seams. I would like to introduce another couple.

Great sandals!: Sport sandals and flip flops

I love Teva sandals as they are comfortable and great for everyday wear and hiking. four years ago and resizing. They're still comfortable, but sometimes I do notice a slight squeak and they feel slippery on wet, slick rocks than my sandals from a few years ago. There is definitely a size issue. with Teeva. Compared to my previous pair they are smaller (at least 1/4-1/2 inch shorter) but luckily the adjustable heel allows me to customize these sandals perfectly. Casual sandals with no…

More like real sports sandals

This shoe used to be just a river shoe, but Teva has improved the heel and the entire outsole to be better off-road and even hiking than previous generations. Love it, now it's a great off-road and water shoe, wears in the ball of the sole for me in previous generations. Very durable, well made and worth the money compared to cheaper fakes. Save the planet and buy this product that lasts longer, serves you better and is also made from recycled polyester. I'm barely a size 12 and it's a little…

Lasts for years! best in sport

I just got a new pair of these and they are just as comfortable as my old ones which are 16 years old and have done a lot of miles. My old ones still work, but they're showing years. I liked the Chaco sandals but they weigh more and the straps rub me the wrong way. Teva sandals are always more comfortable for me. I've worn my Tevas for many miles on long hikes involving numerous water crossings and have never had a problem. Every foot is different and these are the best for me.

Elevated Heel High Arch Support Contoured Insole

I've been wearing Teva sandals for decades but now they've ruined all their sandals with a contoured insole with a raised heel and a ball pit and built in arch support. In the image shown, I placed a strip of yellow tape over the raised arch support to show how much arch this contoured insole created (as opposed to the flat-footed Tevas, which I originally liked). The human foot is not designed to support weight on an arch (which works like a suspension bridge). But now it seems like every…

Slippery when wet!: Shoes

Sandals are durable and fit well. I haven't had them that long, but long enough to make sure they're dangerous on slick, wet surfaces. I wore them while fishing in an aluminum boat. As I got off the boat, I stepped on the aluminum cannons after they got wet from the dew and noticed that they were very slippery. Even when they roam the boat ramp, they don't "grab," for lack of a better word. Of course they are new and the grip can improve with wear.
