Set of Three Texturing Hammers - HAM-460.90 Review

I ordered these metal hammers for my jewelry. However, when I received them, each hammer was so loose on the handle that it could actually be turned! I had to get some tape to secure them so my hammer wouldn't hang around. The hammers themselves are great and it was fairly easy to fix but it still annoyed me that I had to do it.

These are solid hammers with a very good surface finish. The heads fit well. They are heavy enough to mark metal without much effort, yet are ergonomic and comfortable to use. Having three hammers instead of interchangeable heads was also a plus for me. I was very happy with these hammers and the price is very reasonable. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

These hammers are a lot of fun in the jewelry texturing classes I teach. Children can also use it in class. Just remind users to never put their fingers on the workbench that holds the metal being hammered. You can be beaten. It's easy to keep metal off the bench block with your fingers.
