This electric sharpener is a fantastic addition to any artist or crafter's toolkit! It works quickly and smoothly, leaving pencils perfectly sharp and ready for use. I appreciate how it doesn't over-sharpen or break the lead like some other sharpeners. The compact size makes it perfect for a classroom or small studio. The only downside is that it is a bit loud when in use, but that's a small price to pay for such great results.

I bought this because my first grader has distance learning this year and I also work from home, so our small manual pencil sharpener wasn't enough. But I'd really like to spend the extra money to get a better electric sharpener. It doesn't have much power to sharpen. You have to keep moving/adjusting the pins to actually get the blade to connect and it's VERY easy to spill shavings when you dump them as there is no 'cup' to collect the shavings. They just fall out unless you hold the sharpener

I got this because I love to paint and used a crayon sharpener well I didn't use the 9-12mm hole but as for the rest # 1 as in the picture, # #2 does not grind to the end, #3 needs to be held with other hand when sharpening, #4 is easy to open and clean, and finally, when the tips break off, you have to pull it out with a toothpick. Overall I wish I'd spent the money on a different sharpener even though it's better and safer (for pets) than a knife. STOP WORKING AND I USE THE POWER TIME HOLE…
