Description of NeoAir Camper SV πŸ•οΈ Camping Air Mattress by Therm-a-Rest

Three-season inflatable sleeping pad for camping brings the comforts of home to the outdoors. Reflective ThermaCapture technology traps body heat while WaveCore baffled construction provides stability and minimizes heat loss; R-Value 1.8. Suited to spring, summer, and fall sleeping weather, the 3.0-inch thick rectangular mattress provides exceptional comfort. SpeedValve pulls in surrounding air to amplify the breath, quickly inflating the mattress; auto-reversing the valve deflates the mattress quickly. X-Large measures 77x30x3 inflated, packs to 15x6x6 inches, and weighs 45 ounces; stuff sack and repair kit included.

Not Worth the Hype on my review.

This air mattress is overrated. The one positive is that it's comfortable to lay on. However, the cons outweigh its benefits. The mattress isn't durable and slowly loses air throughout the night, leaving you waking up on a deflated bed. Plus, it's not easy to pack and store for Home and Kitchen use. Overall, save your money and invest in a better quality camping mattress.

Pros
  • Excellent comfort and support for a good night's sleep while camping.
Cons
  • Heavier and bulkier than other camping mattresses which can make it more difficult to transport and store.

Camping and hiking are not best trusted.

You can't trust this mattress. We tried several to make sure none of them were defective. We were completely offline for several days. The mattresses are completely deflated several times in the middle of the night. No matter what we did to inflate and seal it, it was still deflated. Of course, when we came back from the trip and wanted to return it, the return time had expired.

Pros
  • X-Large measures 77 x 30 x 3 when inflated, packs 15 x 6 x 6 inches and weighs 45 ounces; Storage bag and repair kit included
Cons
  • Hard to say

Compact, Comfortable, Loud

I was looking for a compact, comfortable and durable sleeping pad for motor camping. This option is fine. It's lightweight and folds up fairly compactly, making it easy to carry in the same stuff sack as my sleeping bag. Once at camp, it quickly turned over and was inflated with an innovative inflation valve. It is thick enough (3 inches) to provide comfortable support. The only downside is that the pillow is noisy even for sleeping. Any movement caused the pad to make "rustling" noises. Not as

Pros
  • SpeedValve draws in ambient air to improve breathing and quickly inflate the mattress; Automatic switching valve quickly deflates the mattress
Cons
  • A few little things
