Not worth the price tag

This industrial power tool failed to meet expectations. While it did perform well initially, it quickly died out after a few uses. The one positive aspect is that it is compatible with other Metcal STTC 140 products. However, this is not enough to justify the high cost or poor quality of the Thermaltronics M7B325. In the competitive world of Industrial and Scientific tools, this product falls far short.

Pros
  • Solid and well-designed product
Cons
  • Not compatible with other brands of soldering stations

Good quality tip: for welding and soldering

It appears to be of good quality although I'll have to see how long it lasts before making a final decision .at least to get to places.

Pros
  • Tip width: 0.02" (0.40mm)
Cons
  • Expensive

Every electrical workshop needs one of these!

I used this item on my soldering iron and it works AMAZING like the OEM. If not better. Would recommend to anyone messing around with their circuit boards and other electronics.

Pros
  • Temp: 700 series
Cons
  • Some errors
