Does everything it says on the tin but the black graphite comes off and sticks to hands when applied. I bought 15 feet but it wasn't enough so I bought 50 feet. Pipes work cooler!

Never collector boxed but I learned quickly. Attention, gloves! This material resembles bare fiberglass. Soaks into your skin and irritates you for the rest of the day! I just hope my Mustang V8 is a little cooler under the hood.

Perfect. Exactly as advertised. I deducted 1 star because the color in the photo is much darker than it really is. After curing, it is more of an ash gray color. I recommend getting a can of black high temp silicone sealant to cover this film before applying. Measure, cut, spray sealant, allow to dry 24-48 hours, then wrap from pipe to header. Use a vice or good quality pliers to firmly tighten the metal clamps. It was a little difficult when I first did it.

I used this tape to wrap the exhaust manifolds on my Triumph Scrambler. It ended up being way more than I needed, I could probably get by with a 15ft roll (just for the headers, not the whole pipe). It was really easy to install and looked great. I didn't even have to remove the pipes to install them. Just put on gloves and know fiberglass gets on everything while working with this product. I've used zip ties to secure the ends and so far, after about 1 month/400 miles, it's holding up well…
