Description of SIMOEFFI Non-Contact Digital Infrared Thermometer - Dual IR Laser Thermometer for Cooking, Kitchen, BBQ, Automotive, Industrial Use - Touchless Temperature Gun (-58℉~1202℉ / -50℃~650℃) - NOT for Human

►Dual Laser Infrared Thermometer - The high-performance, handheld dual infrared thermometer is a professional dual-laser targeting infrared thermometer, offering a wide measurement range, a tight 12:1 distance-to-spot ratio, dual targeting lasers, and several calculation modes to facilitate different temperature measurement applications. ►Highly Accurate - SIMOEFFI touchless infrared thermometer is designed with the latest thermopile sensor technology and advanced Fresnel lens that provides high precision of ± 2%. Infrared laser thermometer gun is equipped with adjustable emissivity, so you can improve the measurement accuracy across different surface types, we also offer a table of emissivity values is included in the manual for your reference. ►Multiple Functions - The digital infrared thermometer offers a wide array of features including, dual laser for the accurate target; adjustable emissivity, white backlit LCD display; 12:1 distance to spot; adjustable high/low set point with audible alarm alerts, max/min/avg/diff temperature monitoring; lock function for continuous readings; auto-power off function activates after 7 seconds of none work; complete with nice tool cover and 9 V battery. ►Widely Applications - Not only is designed for broad general purpose use in research, industrial applications, HVAC, construction, automotive industry, home maintenance or repair services, but also it can be used for kitchen cooking meat, pizza oven, barbecue accessories, car repair, or home depot. You can trust our digital laser infrared thermometer to measure the temperature easily and safely for any hot or cold surfaces, hard-to-reach objects, toxic substances. ►Not for Human - The IR thermometer gun is NOT for assessing human or organic temperatures, usually the temperature readings from the devices are inanimate objects. The infrared temp guns devices can't measure the internal temperature of an object and the measured temperature for humans or animals is incorrect, so please not use it for Body temperature measurement.

Cannot be used outdoors in sunlight

The display cannot be read outdoors on a sunny day. Can't even protect the screen from glare. Must have a sunlight-readable liquid crystal display.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Empty

Eats thermometer batteries

Ready to use. The dual laser sets the ideal spot size ratio (SSR) spacing for maximum precision. But he eats batteries! Make sure you have spare parts on hand. I go once every two weeks.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Damaged

Great inexpensive infrared thermometer.

I'm impressed how well this works for the price. I bought it because of the many positive reviews and "Revain recommendation" and am very satisfied with the device. It works simply, well and does exactly what I need.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • vulgarity

Works great for the price

I've seen some bad reviews about it but it's pretty close to the value. Also note that some of this could be user error, there "is" an "instant" temperature as soon as you pull the trigger. But if you leave it on (whatever you're measuring), it will slowly adjust and get pretty close to the actual temperature. I've played around with a large liquid-cooled PC and it produces about the same temperatures as my expensive built-in thermometer. I would say they are nails for the price.

Pros
  • Sturdy build
Cons
  • Fragile

Easy to use, reasonable price

This infrared "gun" thermometer works, although I have no way of verifying its accuracy. It's easy to use. Pull the trigger to wake it up, then aim it at a target, aim the laser pointer and the screen will display the temperature. I bought this cooking thermometer to check the temperature of the pan. While it seems to be working.

Pros
  • Temperature and Humidity
Cons
  • Doubtful

Pros
  • Industrial & Scientific
Cons
  • Exorbitant price

Easier to use than the reviews suggest!

Very easy to use. There are some more advanced modes of operation that most people will probably never use (like finding the area of a wall). Otherwise it's easy to use, just point the laser and read the temperature. The measuring range is not small. It averages the temperature over a range that increases with range, so I don't think you can measure the temperature of a component on a circuit board, for example. To check the calibration I measured the temperature of the ice water at +/- 0.2…

Pros
  • Infrared thermometer
Cons
  • Quick start guide
