Great clip but the back of the clasp could be a bit lower towards the center of the clip. In that sense, this is a great clip. It's clean and subtle but really establishes a professional presidency.

I usually wear it with a black suit and blue tie. Maintains a classy look with a slight accent and breaks with the traditional silver tie bar. Pros: - Adds to the look of mostly black suits, but isn't flashy. - Brings out pops of color while remaining subtle. - Size 1 1/2", it can be used with any tie and doesn't feel too long. Nice piece in a very nice velvet box. I really wouldn't think of going smaller. In real life it's a little smaller than you think looking at the photos from the website. Seems well done. What really stands out is the finish. Not glossy black (phew), not matte black, more like matte black. Flavorful and goes with everything. highlighted.

This 1.5 black clip is really good and goes "subdued" with almost all tie colors, which quickly makes it an absolute favourite. The main problem is the product quality. After about 20 uses you will notice that the black paint will start to peel and fade at the corners exposing the light colored metal underneath (which is very noticeable) and will be virtually unusable within 6 months.
