This timer has made cooking and baking a breeze. As my tests showed, it accurately times four separate tasks, eliminating any confusion. The display is easy to read, and the unit is extremely user-friendly. However, the alarms could be a bit louder for those with a busy household.

I use this clock in microbiology to measure the timing of the different stages of Gram stains (I use the times recommended by CAP while each of my colleagues uses different ones times preferred). it allows me to get away and do something else without forgetting where I am in the coloring process or what I've been doing (too easily distracted when everything's coming at me fast and furious).

I bought this timer because I needed a calibrated timer for a project. When it arrived, the annual calibration was less than three months away. At this price, I wasn't expecting it to be freshly calibrated (after I ordered it, just before it shipped), but I did expect it to have at least eight or nine months of usable calibration left. (Aside from the calibration issue, it works as expected.)
