Bought to save a cut out rear derailleur hole for an integrated suspension on my steel frame bike. Very nervous about having to drill the frame with the drill bit provided. Only gave 3 stars because the description is wrong. The description says it comes with three inserts of different lengths. It is not. Judging by the photo, they are all the same. Second, your hole should be at least slightly deeper than the length of the thread. Someone suggested cutting out the insert and this can be tricky without stretching the spring, meaning it won't work. They are fairly short, about 3/8 inch long.
