O-ring is a waste of money

The part itself was good and the perfect size but the o-ring that came with it sucked. All in all, save money and buy the best

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Don't buy, it's leaking!

Leak in port leading to top of thermostat housing. The O-ring is too small and does not seal well. Pay extra money and buy an Acdelco OEM part, it won't run out!

Pros
  • Stable Test Results
Cons
  • Minor Issues

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bad replacement

It will fit a 2011 1.8 Chevy Cruse but the connection to the thermostat won't leak I can't see a hold, would warn anyone buying the dealer can be a lot more expensive but the one they put in the store doesn't leak and I'm pretty sure they used an expensive dealer only part

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Safety

Does NOT match stove cruiser

Said it matches cruise 2012, not even close. Maybe other 4-cylinder Chevrolets. No Cruz, I had to bend everything and it still doesn't fit like it did from the factory, it's all knotted and can't even properly snap into the throttle body or sit snugly. Shit, I think I'm going to Oreilly

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • will write later

Started leaking again in the same place

This part did NOT come with a proper o ring and the small clip is broken and I have to order it again. I struggled to pick up the o-ring, but after a few months it started leaking again. Now that it's summer, it's leaking the same way it did last fall when I replaced it.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Small things

Exactly what we needed!

I called several parts dealers and none of them had even heard of this part so obviously it was out of stock. The item fit perfectly and arrived as described. It took us 4 days to figure out what the stench was because we couldn't drive without it. But he arrived within the time frame he told us. Would book here again if we ever have to.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Product worked great

Worked great. I had to order a second one because I broke the first one because it was too coarse. Be careful as the clamp retaining ring may pop out of the hose assembly when moving the hose through tight spaces. It snaps back into place, but I have to fish mine out of the motor. Snaps onto the thermostat housing very easily, no leaks. Be careful when installing and make sure the retaining clip snaps into both places on the thermostat and you should be fine. 2014 Chevrolet Sonic

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Good but not great
