One for front left, one for front right and the other two are the same for rear bar. It's easiest to set up with two people, so you don't have to play tug-of-war or twist the footrest. I bought a used Thule 400XT roof rack for my 2008 VW GTI and THEN discovered that it was KIT2141 has been removed from production... I couldn't find this kit anywhere so I had to either sell it or find the Frankenstein way to make it work. , Infiniti and Nissan.
